Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions of the agreement under which rooms are permitted to be used by the guest and are binding on them.

  • Check in: Guest are requested to occupy room after proper registration at the front desk. Only those who have been registered at the front desk, are allowed to use the room facility.

  • Tariff: Guest must ascertain the tariff/room rate at the time of assigning in the visitors’ register. The room tariff is not inclusive of any charges for food & beverages or any other services availed by the guest and these will be payable as per consumption.

  • Bills: All bills must be settled when presented either by credit card or cash before departure. Cheques are not acceptable.

  • Departure: Check out time is on 11.30 noon basis. Guest staying beyond check out time will be charged for full day succeeding their check out date and time. Extension of stay is subject to availability of room(s).

  • Management’s lien on visitors’ luggage & belongings: In case of default in payment of dues by a guest, the management shall be entitled to a lien on the luggage and belongings and to detain the same and to sell or auction such property at any time after the day of departure, without reference to the party and appropriate the net sale proceeds towards amount due by the guest.

  • Guest valuables, cash, jewelers, etc: Visitors are particularly, requested to lock the doors of their rooms when going out or when going to bed or when using common bathrooms. The resort will not in any way whatsoever, be responsible for the loss of guest’s belongings or any other property not entrusted to the management or for damage thereof, whether due to neglect of resort employees or agents or any other cause whatsoever, including theft or pilferage.

  • Management’s rights: The management reserves to itself the absolute right of admission to any person in the resort premises and to request any guest to vacate his or her room at any moment without any previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In default, the management will be entitled to remove the luggage and belongings of the visitor, from the room occupied by him or her and lock the room.

  • Damage to property: Guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to resort property, caused by themselves, their friends or any person for whom they are responsible.

  • Accidents: Management does not hold itself responsible for any accidents, however caused, whether by us or by electrical gadgets, mechanical appliances etc or by natural causes, including acts of God, resulting in either loss or damage to themselves and/or their property.

  • Resort keys: Resort keys must be deposited at the reception desk whenever guests leave the resort premises and at the time of check out. Loss or damage to Room key will be charged Rs. 1000/- extra.

  • Pets: Are not allowed in the resort.

  • Cooking: Cooking in the rooms is strictly prohibited.

  • Games etc.: As per Indian Government Rules which prohibits playing cards or any other gambling activities in the rooms. The use of private music devices or other musical instruments is restricted.

  • Going beyond resort boundaries is not recommended. Guest do so, at their own risk.

  • No outside food and beverage are permitted to be consumed in the resort premises.

  • Any activity pertaining to paedophilia or any audio/video material pertaining to child pornography is strictly prohibited by law within the resort premises.

  • Relation between resort and visitors: Nothing herein shall constitute or be deemed to constitute any tenancy or sub-tenancy or any right of tenancy or sub-tenancy or any right or interest in the resort premises or any part, or portion thereof in favour of any guest or resident or visitor and the resort shall be deemed to be in full and absolute possession and control of the whole resort premises.

  • Hazardous goods: Storing of hazardous goods, like raw or exposed cinema films, gas cylinders, cooking stoves, inflammable fuels, firearms, etc., in the resort premises by guest is strictly prohibited.

  • Government rules & regulations: Guest is requested to observe government rules and regulations in force from time to time, in respect of registration, alcoholic drinks, firearms, etc.

  • Amendment of rules: The management reserves to itself the right to add, to alter and to amend any of the above terms, conditions and rule as may deem fit to management without any prior intimation.

  • Buffet timings: Breakfast 7.30 am to 10.30 am , Lunch from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm, Dinner 07.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

  • Subject to Almora (UK) Jurisdiction.
